We need your help staffing a number of our departments! All staff positions are to be considered, effectively, full time jobs during the course of the convention. While we have no intention of working our staffers to death, they will be required to do real work. If you want to come to the convention, see all the events and socialize with people, then you don't want to be on staff. If, however, you want to be a part of the inner workings of a convention, and help bring joy to countless fans, then we probably have a place for you.
Positions are open in all departments right now.

Here's a basic rundown on what is expected from a gopher. First, the gopher must be registered with the converntion. We strongly recomend that you pre-reg as early as possible to save yourself some money, and to be assured a gopher position. Second, the gopher must be willing to work in 1-4 hour long shifts. If the gopher works enough hours (the amount is yet to be determined, but will likely be around 12-16 hours) then the gopher will get their registration fee refunded to them after the end of the convention. The amount of refund will be determined and issued by "Gopher Mom" and the Registration Head. There will also be a limited amount of crash space available for those of you who can't afford a room. This space will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.
Examples of what type of work will be expected out of the gophers are as follows: checking for badges at the various con functions, helping set up any of the con rooms, helping keep the video rooms running, taking things to/fetching things for various staff members, helping at registration, helping in the con suite, helping out with security, and anything else staff needs to keep the con running.
