Sugoicon is proud to announce the addition of Shinichi "Nabeshin" Watanabe as the convention’s Japanese Guest of Honor!

Nabeshin is the iconic director of the anime comedies Excel Saga, Nerima Daikon Brothers, and Tenchi Muyo! GXP, as well as the recent comedy-drama The Wallflower. Nabeshin is also known for his animated alter ego, and his larger-than-life personality has cemented his status as a fan favorite with his recent stateside appearances.

We’ve confirmed that Josh Grelle and Brittney Karbowski will be returning to Sugoicon this year! We’re very happy to have both Josh and Brittney back, and we hope you are too!

Have you seen Dragon Ball Z Kai on Nicktoons? If so, you may have noticed a new voice for Frieza from previous dubs…none other than Chris Ayres! Congratulations to Chris on the role!

More guest news to report! We've added another returning guest, Magikano and Nerima Daikon Bros' Carli Mosier! We're glad to have Carli back with us!

Forums

The forums are coming down for an upgrade which should help to get rid of the spam problem. An announcement will be put up when they return to being live again. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

The forums are back up. Unfortunately, the database was corrupted in the upgrade, and all of the information was lost. Accounts and threads will have to be redone. I'm very sorry if there was anything of importance that got lost.
