All of us at SugoiCon thank our attendees, guests and friends for making this a great 10th anniversary! We had a great time, and hope you have a wonderful holiday season. SugoiCon 2010 will be held November 5th-7th, and we hope to see you there!
10-25-09 General Programming Schedule Online!
You've all been asking for it, so here it finally is! While the nitty gritty of video and panel times are still being hammered out, we have finalized the times for most of our main events. Those times can now be found on the General Programming Schedule page. Click through and plan your weekend!
10-24-09 Cosplay Craftsmanship Rules Online!
Just a quick note for all you cosplayers out there that we finally have the official rules for the craftsmanship portion of our cosplay contest online. Head over to the Cosplay page for all the information!
10-23-09 Anime-UC Lives!
Spreading Excitement all Over the World with Haruhi Suzumiya... and just about any other anime we can get our hands on!
Starting the week after SugoiCon, meetings run from 7pm to 11pm every Friday night in Baldwin 544 (University of Cincinnati Main Campus).
Currently showing a wide variety of popular anime. Bring along a suggestion of your own, or just bring along your love of all things animated and Japanese and join us on Fridays!

10-10-09 Vendors Map Finalized!
The vendor list for this year's SugoiCon has now been finalized and we've placed the list along with the vendor map up on the Vendors page. Head on over and plan your shopping attack!
10-08-09 Welcome Back Doug Smith!
We are pleased to announce that comic artist and voice actor Doug Smith will be returning as a Guest of Honor this year! Head over to the US Guests page for more info.
10-07-09 Various Pokes and Tweaks.
Nothing too exciting this time. Just some adjustments and fixes to a few things on the web page. Oh, and yes, the Shinjuku at SugoiCon flyer links on the Flyers/PR page have been fixed. Sorry about that.
10-05-09 Concert Info Updated!
The Concerts page has been updated with more specific info for the Japanese Guest concerts on Friday night. We now have times and descriptions to go with all those nice pictures!
10-02-09 Guest Bio and Web Page Tweaks.
Updated and expanded Yasuhiro Koshi's bio slightly and added a link to B.F.P.'s webpage on the Japanese Guests page. Also made a few other minor tweaks and adjustments to the overall site.
09-27-09 Updated Concert Info!
The Concerts page has been updated with some additional information about our newly named "Shinjuku at SugoiCon" concert event on Friday featuring our Japanese musical guests.
We have also put up the official concert flyer for that event on the Flyers/PR page. Please help us advertise the event, and SugoiCon, by posting our flyers on your college and high shcool campuses' bulletin boards!
09-21-09 Nobu Takatori's Bio is live!
Another quick update to the Japanese Guests page. We now have Nobu's bio complete and online.
09-20-09 SunCon: SugoiCon special edition!
Suncoast at the Tri-County Mall in Sharonville is having a special anime event on Sunday, 9/27! Be there to hear the latest updates from SugoiCon department heads, and compete for prizes, including three-day passes to Sugoi!
09-19-09 Sizu Miyano's Bio goes live!
Just a quick note that we finally have Sizu Miyano's bio up on the Japanese Guests page. Go check it out and discover a little more about our very own Black Cat Moe Rocker girl!
09-15-09 Lots of event updates!!
SugoiCon is happy to announce that we will be hosting a formal ball on Friday again this year! Info about it has been put up over on the dance page along with the offical rules for the event.
We are also very happy to announce SugoiCon's Rock Band 2: Battle of the Bands Tournament event! Basic information on the tournament can be found over on the programming page and the offical rules and tournament registration information can be found HERE. Please note, if you want to take part in this tournament you must pre-register BEFORE the convention!

We are pleased to announce that comic artist, and all-around nice guy, Dan Hess will be returning as a Guest of Honor this year! Head over to the US Guests page for more info.
Some contact info has been tweaked and the Flyers/PR page has been updated with some new information, if you're planning to advertise with us, be sure to head over there to take in the new info.
09-10-09 More Japanese Guests! Another Concert!
SugoiCon is proud to announce another two additions to our Japanese Guest lineup for this year: Hideaki Takatori and Nobu Takatori! They are the lead singer and lead guitarist (respectively) for the Japanese "Hard Boiled Rock" band ZETKI. In addition to doing the usual panels, they will also be performing a concert for us! 08-22-09 Cosplay, Panels, Workshops and AMV rules!
The Cosplay and Programming pages have now been updated with links to the rules, regulations and guidelines for this year's Cosplay Contest, Anime Music Video Contest, and for Fan Panel and Workshop Submissions. If you're interested in partaking in any of these events (or, in the case of the panels and workshops, running an event) please head over to the appropriate place and contact the appropriate people! 08-05-09 Vendors List and Bio Updates
Quick update today. FICE's bio on the Japanese Guests page has been updated with their full bio. Also, the current list of vendors who will be in this year's Vendor's Room have been added to the Vendors page.
08-02-09 Japanese Guests and Concerts!
SugoiCon is proud to introduce our first Japanese guests for this year's convention: Enn and Hyou from FICE, Sizu Miyano and Yasuhiro Koshi. FICE and Sizu will be performing concerts for us as well!
The basic information is up on the Japanese Guests and Concerts pages. We are still working on some of the bios so please be patient. But, in the meantime, be sure to check out the Japanese webpages for FICE and Sizu Miyano for more information!
We hope to make a few more big announcements in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
07-30-09 Vendors Room Is Full!

07-19-09 Registration Page Updated!
Sorry it took so long folks. There were some technical dificulties, but we finally have the Pre-Registration and Registration info up on the Registration page! Now, head on over there and send us your money so we can put on an awesome con for everyone! :)

The vendor information page has now been updated including this year's vendor registration form.
It has been a slow month for updates and news, but we should have some exciting Japanese guest announcements to make soon!
05-15-09 Hotel Info Updated!
Just a quick update to the Location Information page. This year's discount room rate at the Drawbridge Inn is $90/night. Please note that you must be 21 years of age or older to reserve a room.
05-13-09 Webpage Pokes and Tweaks!
All of the web pages have been updated to properly reflect this year's event information as it is currently known. A few details are still awaiting confirmation and we apologize for the delay. Look for more complete information (hopefully) soon!
We are pleased to announce the return of Chris Ayres, Greg Ayres, Jan Scott-Frazier, James Hatton, and Josh Grelle as US Guests of Honor. Voices For will also be returning to perform at Sugoi Con this year.
