SugoiCon 2002 is over! Thank you to everyone who attended. The turnout was great, and we had over 900 registered users. We'll let you know as soon as possible in regards to SugoiCon 2003. People say big news happens in threes, this time it happened in fours. We have confirmation of FOUR new guests of honor! Yoshinori Kanemori from Madhouse, Masao Maruyama from Madhouse, artist Sen'no Knife, and the multitalented Nekoi Rutoto. For more information, go to the guests page.

Sorry for the long silence, folks. We at Sugoi Con have been breaking our backs behind the scenes to make sure we can bring the best convention to you this year that is possible. Unfortunately, until things are set in stone, we can't really announce them, so we ask you to wait a bit longer. However, there IS one thing that we can announce for sure:

We are proud to announce that we have acquired a DDR Max 2 (7th Mix) Arcade Game for Sugoi Con 2002. So practice your moves and bring your burning soul! Oh, and this year we're planning to set aside some 'beginner time' for people to learn how to play the game without worrying about being around the intimidating DDR gods.

The dates for the Sugoi Con 2002 have been determined. It will take place October 18-20, 2002. The location information will be the same. SugoiCon 2002 will take place at the Holiday Inn Cincinnati Airport. In related news the new web site for Sugoi Con is well underway, and should be available soon.

Well, the con is long over now, and most of us are recovered and have begun planning for next year! Thank you, everyone, for another successfull convention!
