Well, the con is long over now, and most of us are recovered and have begun planning for next year! Thank you, everyone, for another successfull convention!
See you all at Sugoi Con 2002!

October 25, 2001
I have now placed a preliminary schedule of event times and locations on the programming and events page. The times, of course, are subject to change, but with any luck, these are final.
Just a reminder... Pre-reg is now CLOSED. At the door registration is your only remaining option now. 3 day passes are $40 and 1 day passes are $25.
Unfortunately, due to the current wartime situation that our whole country finds itself in, our Japanese guests (who we never even got a chance to announce) had to cancel their plans to come to our convention, at the request of their respective companies. We certainly understand their safety concerns, and hope that the situation is much improved next year.

Just a few updates to various parts of the web page today. The recent terrorist events have made things much more difficult for us, so we're still working on nailing down our final roster of guests. Please stay tuned!
Also, keep in mind that the final pre-registration date is just a few days away! You need to get your pre-registration info and money in the mail to us by October 19th (That's this friday!). Why pay full price at the door when you can save money now?

A new look and some great new news! The Vendor's Area has been completely SOLD OUT! Things are still charging forward and the con is just 2 months away! Look for more news about additional guests soon as well! We're working hard to bring you the best convention possible!
Also, if you're going to be attending AWA 7 later this month, be sure to stop by our booth and say "Hi!" and, while you're at it, please buy one of our cool new T-shirts!

Check out the programming and events page for information on our new Meet the Guests dinner event! We've also been in discussions with some very interesting potential Japanese guests, and we've added a few more American guests to the guests page as well.

A number of updates have been made to the web page. We welcome back another returning guest, Steve Bennett. Check out his info on the guests page. There have been some minor updates made to the vendors and publications pages as well. We heartily welcome our newest dealer, WIZZYWIG Inc. The biggest update is to the programming and events page! We are still in the process of planning events for the convention, so if you have an idea for an event that you would like to see, head over to the programming and events page and let us know what you want!

Well, we're experiencing some technical difficulties putting up the new web page, so in the mean time we'll be putting our updates here on the old one.
We have a date, we have a hotel, and we even have some guests! Sugoi Con 2001 will happen November 9 - 11 and we will be back at the lovely Holiday Inn Cincinnati Airport again. We are also happy to announce that we've received confirmations from a couple of our returning guests! Sugoi Con welcomes back Robert DeJesus and Scott Frazier.
Look for more guest announcements soon as well as the final details concerning our hotel room rates! (We're doing our best to get even lower rates this year!)
