Yay! Sugoi Con 2000 is over and was great success! Since we're all still recovering from running the con this will be a short update. Please check out the wonderful convention reports put up by Linus Lam Network News and Fans View. Also, soon, we'll have our own archive of photos from the convention online.

We're in the home stretch and things are getting very busy, so this may be the final update to the web page. We have added one final American Guest of Honor! We'd like to welcome Scott Frazier to our guests page and our convention. There have also been a number of additions to our Vendor list, go to the vendor information page to check out our new vendors.

Finally, please note that pre-registration is now CLOSED. If you haven't sent in your registration by now, you'll have to register at the convention. There are, however, hotel rooms still available. Reserve yours today!

There have been a number of minor updates to the web site over the past couple weeks. Most notable, however, is the anouncement of a group pre-registration rate! Pre-register with 10 or more people at a time, and you'll get a 10% discount! Go to the registration page for all the details.

Time is running out and the convention is rapidly approaching! Pre-registering will give you the advantage of avoiding long at-con registration lines! So, pre-register now, before it's too late!
Also, the hotel room block is starting to fill up so if you're going to reserve a hotel room, it's in your best interest to do it soon!

Sugoi Con is proud to announce 2 new guests!
Ms. Akira Gajou, our first Japanese Guest of Honor, is a manga artist who has seen some of her works published in the US through Studio Ironcat, and Douglas Smith, a US voice actor, who has done work in a number of ADV Films titles, including Golden Boy. Go check out their bios on the guests page.

Also, we now have Sugoi Con 2000 t-shirts available for sale! Go to the publications page for more information!

We finally have some advertising banners that other web site owners can use to help get the word out about Sugoi Con 2000! head over to the Publications page to check them out. We have also updated the Volunteer page to reflect our current needs.

Look for some new guest announcements soon, including our first Japanese guest of honor!

Sugoi Con is proud to announce the addition of our newest guest: Matt K. Miller! He's probably best known for his role as Tenchi in Tenchi Muyo, but go read his full bio on our guests page! Also, we'd like to offer our sincerest apologies to Neil Nadelman for having his name misspelled on the guest page and some of our flyers. It won't happen again, honest!

A whole bunch of updates and anouncements this time! The first pre-registration deadline has passed and the pre-reg fee now stands at $30. The vendor information page has been updated including the online vendor packet. Also, the gopher information has been updated, and our staff volunteering needs are now listed. If you'd like to help us out, please take a look at the volunteering page.

Updates have been made to a number of pages, most notably we have added a guest to our guests page, and we finally have our program book advertisement prices on-line on our publications page.
And, coming soon, our vendor information will make its net debut!

We finally have our own domain name registered! We now own "sugoicon.org"! Everyone should update their link lists and bookmarks to point towards www.sugoicon.org for the web page.
